Avera lived in an underwater city. One night, her parents are killed by pirates that raid the castle. The Captain of the crew finds Avera as a baby and the Captain decides to take her in as one of their own and raised to become a ruthless pirate like him. She learns as time passes that their pirate code does not prohibit them to raid straight from towns or innocent folks on land or sea. Instead, they are pirates that steal from other thieves.

     Over time, her adoptive father passes from an illness and Avera takes over as Captain of the crew. Eventually during one raid from another pirate's ship, they recover a map meant to find an old ancient city underwater. This map takes the orca buccaneer to an abandoned city, which ends up being her old home. As she explores the deserted city, or what she thought was, she runs into her new pet companion Chatty who was found swimming around tunneling onto a fish and then bashes into a sewer grate getting stuck. Avera helps Chatty free being stuck in between the two bars. Chatty sees the metal crown latched onto her tail, recognizing it and steals Avera's hat to get her to follow them.

    Chatty takes Avera inside the castle and she gathers clues along the way of who used to live there and what the species were looking at old paintings. They had similar looks and features as Avera. Eventually Chatty takes a turn into a room with a stone door and uses the blue gem around his neck to activate it with its mythical powers. Avera sees that her gems on her wrists react to the door and opens for her. Chatty shows her an old book where it tells of her story, but it ends in her death. Then she understands that this world isn't the one she belongs in. After finding a library in the castle she finds a secret room to an ancient book telling of a tale of cursed thick fogs in the sea so dense that they take you to other universes.

    Now, Avera travels the world to world finding the thickest of fogs on the seven seas to find her universe she originally belonged to to find her true home to reclaim her role as queen. Until then, her and Chatty hop world to world going on many adventures big and small!
